Correct Routing For Ace Clutch Cable

OK so I usually run it be Haines the left headlight bracket, between the down tubes and direct to the clutch cover. Is this correct, or is there a more original specs for routing locations? Thanks in advance!!! Victor

As I remember it routes under the tank on the right side by the mounting bolt. Many people that restore have it wrong and the position of the shift lever also. ------------------Clarence

I realize this is a very old post, but I’m wondering about the “position of the shift lever” mentioned here. I’m just finishing up my Super Combat and want to make sure everything is correct. I did route the clutch cable directly under the front gas tank mounting bolt on the right side.
